About Me

As a seasoned technologist, and a process improvement specialist,  I’ve worked on projects ranging from 5 to more than 100 people in size. These projects have utilised various development models including Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), Rational Unified Process (RUP), Software CMMI, ISO, ITIL and IT Governance. I advocate Agile development methodologies, test-driven development (TDD) and Software Craftsmanship and was an early adopter in the early to mid-1990’s. I am a Certified Scrum Master, a member of the Scrum Alliance and a signatory of the Agile Manifesto. I have experience in managing and working with geographically dispersed software development teams.

I have extensive experience covering the entire software development process and the full life cycle. I have worked in various roles throughout my career, covering positions such as Team Lead, Project Lead, Systems Analyst and as well as Project Manager Analyst and Lead PMO.

As a indipendent consultant, I am experienced at working across businesses and at board level. I have the ability to understand complex business requirements and to grasp and appreciate what is being delivered in customer business terms, with an ability to identify, assess and analyse the “As-Is and To-Be” within an organisation. Having excellent client facing skills, I am an excellent communicator with the drive to succeed and work independently as well as on a team, with the ability to multi-task, and to deliver quality results. I am a natural self-starter who is experienced in working remotely, yet as part of a team.
